House shopping and food shopping

We went to have a look at a house today, adorable little building named after a woman, Marie. "Maries minde" (remembering Maria? In memory of Maria?), it was once a quite stylish house. Before neglegt water damage and rot hit the poor thing as an old spinster lived out her days in it. Interesting details from former glory still remained, like this portrait of a woman in each corner of the living room ceiling. Too bad some amatuers had tried to upkeep over the years.
after that, we took 4-month birthday girl Perle food shopping. (see inside)

"Yo dude, get me everything on this list and make it snappy! Paper, not plastic!"

She's four months old and rides the shoppingcart for the first time. She also wonders why her mother is nuts and must document her every move. "What's the big deal? I'm just sitting here..." That's the big deal Perle, you're not supposed to be that good at it yet. Ever since she discovered around christmas (!!) that sitting up is an activity she can do she's been trying to sit up maybe 200 times a day every day. I go and help her and hold her steady and all that practice has clearly paid off. Or perhaps she's telling me that I need to do some situps.
Hmm. I'm going to have to get her a baby chair now.
