Here she is, our new star player showing skilled ball control as she dodges past her opponent with the camera and has penetrated the defence with her mad footwork. She's got home-field advantage here under the cherry trees and the SJ-team are thrilled to have her as their main forward, a position badly needed since the other team member is a cat who's natural ability make him an ideal run-away-and-hide defender.
She's got some soccer-blood in her veins. Her grandfather is John Njor scroll down to the 1964 image of AB nr.11 i 1. division 1964 and spot the charismatic dark man in the middle - though he looks more like he should be belting out "Viene Su" than kicking a ball around. Also, back when I was a kid I belonged to the local team that always lost. (hey, somebody's gotta do it!)

Nightvision snogs
dabitch — Friday, March 23, 2007 - 22:09
Going through backups I found this film that shows just what kind of sexay it takes to procreate with moi, in all its grainy nightvision video glory. Paris eat your heart out. My man is an animal.
(ps - if it ain't obvious, the film is shot by a third party witness to the pig snorting, our good mate Thomas who also edited it together just in time for our hangovers.)
Animals at the zoo
dabitch — Sunday, March 11, 2007 - 16:39

She'll probably remember riding a cart around with her cousins more than any animal. Elphants, tigers (who Perle insist say "mjauw"), lions, giraffes and even penguins weren't half as much fun as being surrounded by her homegirls. This is the Njor girl posse - be very afraid.

picknick with Graham [turtle QT 2.4 MB]
dabitch — Thursday, June 5, 2003 - 18:27

It's my birthday!
My demands are simple, a picknick and some art with my turtle, Graham. Here Graham demonstrates how to tickle mum silly. and leave little scratch marks.
Louisiana Art Museum!

Here we educate Graham about Art. This Warhol painting of Mao is exactly as old as me. Good trivia Graham!

he is too looking at the art - see I can prove it with a fuzzy enlargement.
tarah! Graham's favorite color is red.
By now, a QT movie should have loaded here below...
Graham races from beind my bag to me legs, he's seen a spot he'd like to burrow under....

What does graham most like to do? Burrow! He'll dig under nearly anything, but seems to prefer digging whereever I happen to be sitting at the moment. ;))

Otto och Aina Wäppling gifte sig. de var gifta i 62 år Otto gick in i evigheten klockan elva om förmiddagen den 1 maj 2003. jag saknar honom.
When my maternal grandfather died we found that he had carried a page from his passport which also had grandmas picture (married couples had one passport) for 62 years in his wallet. Under her photo he had written "min fru så rar" (My wife so sweet).

graham has moved to Copenhagen
dabitch — Monday, December 2, 2002 - 19:24

Graham has moved to Copenhagen. His little mermaid is made in France and bought in Amsterdam though. He was driven to Hamburg where I picked him up. A pretty well-traveled African side necked turtle he is indeed. He travels well, he jumped back into the tank as if he'd never left it when we came home. the whole trick is to keep him warm during the trip - which my navy wool coat was good at.

Graham has a view now, which he finds interesting, he can see out on the back yard from his window, and as the season calls for it, theres a big lit up Christmas tree in the yard. I have no idea how far he can see - and if his vision is any good, but he does look out quite a lot, especially today when some kids were playing in the yard, which got him all exited.

It's a shame sometimes that Graham doesn't hold still. Try to get a mood-shot of his actual light, and all you get is a blurry turtle, he's so exited!
He got a good treat today - mosquitolarvae - food that moves. This was fun he seemed to think. At first he looked at them with suspicion, then he tried one, and suddenly he turned into killer turtle, chasing fast around the tank before the larva was all gone. He's still poking around the shallow waters of his basking space looking for
more.
