copenhagen
Oh look, they did a whole shop window decorated with my work.

With the extra added touch of flying bras. Cute. I also did the posters, postcards and display cases. See Cover done for..

Book launch lunch at Café Royal, Copenhagen

Yesterday I had lunch with the writer, editors, illustrators and marketing people behind the book I've been working on recently - so I've not only seen Huskmitnavn, but I also managed to accidently photograph him with my phonecamera. I'm not posting that, though I did think that perhaps I should black him out in the shot and add one of his typical talk-bubbles just to be funny.
Anyway, we all had lunch at Café Royal which looks like what a seven year old girl would think a café looks like. Pink walls, giant candles, great chairs, huge cakes, all kinds of Royal Copenhagen cups and dishes, and of course smørrebrodsushi. It seemed to suit the books style quite well and I order everyone who has a little girl, or a little girl inside to go have a piece of cake and a giant cup of mocha there right now.

Mefiosos meetup in Copenhagen
So an elite click of the Metafilterati got together last night at the Brew Pub in Copenhagen, shared a few beers and many more laughs - here are the photos to prove it.
Also put a few in my flickr account which i rarely use but since I could add my metafilter meetup set to the greater metafilter pool I kinda had to. ;)

SPEED DRINKING!

No time to properly comment on all shots, the rest inside.
Noa & Perle in the park (aka testing the ibook camera)

- "Howyadoin?" - "Yeah not too bad. You?"
My new macbook has a camera i it, and its not too bad! Here are the girls in the park yesterday. Noa is maybe a month younger but already has four top teeth. Perle is sans nap in these shots and looking rather tired.
Perle in the pram with bubbles

Perle and I walk at least twice a day, every street musician has seen her do her little pram dance, and all the birds in town love us for the stale bread we bring. The other day she discovered the best free entertainment ever, we got soapbubbles! And since a horde of Japanese tourists stopped to photograph her, I had to join in. Can't have her appear in loads of Japanese photoalbums but not her own, now can we?
The art of looking cool

In just seven months Perle has mastered the art of hanging out looking suave. Japanese tourists holler and have to photograph her or shake her wee hand (happened twice today alone, and it's Sunday). I just had to share this shot taken at Tivoli last month, I mean, look at her. I was never that cool. I guess it helps that I never dress her in (ugh) pink. ;)
Happy eight months birthday baby!
Henriks ipod is more famous than Henrik.

Henrik replaced the little mermaid with his ipod, and all of Copenhagen sounded better. ;) the end!

the burning spoon moment is especially good. ;)
New Year 2003 - Copenhagen

Rådhuset at the strike of twelve new years eve, 2003 has arrived.
On a side note, it's kind of fun to view some of Copenhagens
tourist spots in these 360 degree panoramas from panorama.dk.

Me putting on a brave face. Too many fireworks set off by too many people and you get quite a few aimed straight into the crowd.
Hence the geeky safety glasses. Plus i think they're sexy. ;-) hehe!
happy new year all.
haircut and dye.

captains log stardate something or other. groom galore results in the usual one centimeter trimmed, and the following tantrum because my hair now is 'way too short'. yup. I know I'm being silly.
