Douwe Egbert “Winter Gloed”

Each winter, the Dutch coffee brand Douwe Egberts launches a seasonal coffee flavour.

This poster sold “Winter Gloed” (gloed as in amber/glow – heat) by showing the warm red packaging in a snowy scene during the day. When the abri lit up at night the packaging would glow as the scene around it turned into a dark starry night.

This was done by printing on both sides of the poster paper, and I keep it in my book to let you know I have gotten this little trick out of my system.
