Self-portrait "Lürzers Archive" portfolio magazine

Challenge

Seeking new work and freelance in Amsterdam in 1998 and 1999 I wanted a portfolio that would be memorable as well as a piece that I could leave with any agencies that I interviewed at.

Solution

I made physical Lürzer's Archive magazine with all of my work in it and illustrated a self-portrait of myself on the cover. The table of contents was my C.V.

Result

The magazine concept was so appreciated that I kept it up, just updating the contents and re-printing a new one each year. There was even a vol.2 in 2003 when I was looking for work with copywriter Erik Rolf, with a portrait of us both on the cover.

Later, this idea got "Badlanded" as a creative team in Denmark had the same concept when they were looking for work.
