On the BBC before the news, they now show little clips shot from CCTV, together with a quote from the latest crime statistics.
Today the clip was of people around a cash machine and the voiceover saying "Plastic fraud is up, please be careful."
Next week it'll be: "Everybody out there, please BEHAVE NORMAL!...or we'll make SPECTACLE out of you on NATIONAL TV."
And the week after that it'll be: "You, yes you with the purple-blue stuff in your hair, walk straight, will you? Stand up! And where do you get off wearing a sporron? You're not even Scottish for chrissakes!"
I'm truly terrified of the future of reality TV. CCTV.
