Internetworld magazine in Sweden honoured Adland with the site of the month title in their extra-big summer issue 2003, where the top 100 sites were listed.

Michelle Delio at Wired contacted me regarding the new phenomena of referral spam back in 2002, writing up "When the spam hits the blogs"
"*Ghost* and *scamads* have had their own festival. It's called Ghost and will run for the first time on October 31 this year.
The Collective did interviews with freelancers in their network, including myself where I spoke about Adland. Note how I reply "I started Adland", because I never did call it by the URL, however it was common for other people to mention the URL so that it could be linked.
