The Collective did interviews with freelancers in their network, including myself where I spoke about Adland. Note how I reply "I started Adland", because I never did call it by the URL, however it was common for other people to mention the URL so that it could be linked.

Adland created by "Ask" an advertising Art Director in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, contains all manner of e-mail threads and rants about the world of advertising. It's best known section, called Badland

In CINT newsletter week 42 year 2000, they give the linktip to check out Badland at Adland. 

"Media researchers!" the blurb calls, as ResearchBuzz lists Adland as a resource for commercials way back in 2000.
